◆ About Skywalker

Our commitment to responsible adventure

Since 2005, every project we deliver has been grounded in three principles: minimum impact on the environment, maximum safety for every visitor, and unconditional integrity in everything we build. These are not aspirations — they are the conditions every Skywalker project must satisfy before we put our name to it.

What we stand for

Three commitments that govern every project we take on

🌿

Minimal environmental impact

We design and build every installation to coexist with its natural setting. Our tree-friendly construction technology protects root systems and canopy structure. No unnecessary excavation, no chemical treatments — nothing that damages the landscape that makes an adventure park worth visiting in the first place.

Exceptional visitor experience

Every attraction we build is state-of-the-art, creatively designed, and rigorously tested by accredited certification bodies. We design logistical flow from the start — not as an afterthought — so visitors move through the park efficiently, reducing queues and increasing revenue per visit for the operator.

🏆

Quality, integrity, and trust

We provide only the highest quality products and services, backed by objective, unbiased advice. When you partner with Skywalker, you receive a single point of accountability — one team that is responsible for the outcome from concept through to operational launch, with no subcontracting the hard parts out of sight.

How we deliver on it

A single point of responsibility across all four project phases

Commitments are easy to state. They are honoured through structure. Our integrated four-phase model means the same team that shapes your strategy is the team that builds your park and trains your staff — so accountability never gets passed between firms at the moment it matters most.

1

Strategy & Feasibility

Market studies, business plan development, and concept design. We establish the commercial foundation for your park before any engineering begins — ensuring the project is viable and the business case is solid before you commit capital.

2

Design & Engineering

Detailed technical design, engineering, and master planning. Every attraction is specified for throughput, safety certification, and operational efficiency — not just aesthetics. Our designs are buildable, certifiable, and commercially optimised by intent.

3

Build & Installation

Full construction and project management, with local sourcing leveraged where commercially advantageous while we maintain full quality control over every component. Our build teams operate under our own project management — no gap between design intent and physical execution.

4

Operations & Support

Staff training, independent safety certification, and ongoing lifecycle management. Our commitment does not end at opening day. We provide the operational framework your team needs to run a safe, profitable, and fully compliant adventure park from day one onwards.

Safety & quality

Standards are not optional — they are the minimum

Every Skywalker adventure park is designed to meet EN 15567 (European Ropes Course Standard) and the equivalent national standards applicable in every jurisdiction where we build. These standards govern structural design, inspection regimes, operational procedures, and staff qualification requirements.

Our safety-first approach is not a constraint on creative design — it is a driver of it. We believe that a park designed with safety at its core also performs better commercially, because operators spend less time managing incidents and more time maximising visitor throughput.

Independent certification by accredited inspection bodies at every project completion
Belay systems selected and specified for continuous, hands-free visitor safety
Lifecycle management programmes to maintain certification status year on year
Staff training programmes developed and delivered by Skywalker-certified trainers
A park's profitability is secured during the design phase. Safety compliance, operational throughput, and commercial efficiency are not separate workstreams — they are the same workstream, solved at the same time.

Standards we design to

EN 15567 — European Ropes Course Standard, governing structural design and operational requirements for all high-rope and high-wire installations

National building codes — applied across all jurisdictions where we build, including local structural and engineering requirements

Independent sign-off — every completed park is certified by an accredited third-party inspection body before it opens to the public

Environmental responsibility

Eco-conscious design is not a marketing claim — it is how we build

The natural environment is not a backdrop to adventure — it is the attraction itself. Skywalker has built its reputation on a fundamental principle: our ECO adventure parks are designed to strengthen the visitor's connection to nature, not to degrade the ecosystem that creates it.

Our tree-friendly attachment technology allows us to build high-wire parks and ropes courses in mature forest environments without drilling into trunks, applying harmful compounds, or restricting natural growth. The result is an installation designed to coexist with the forest — and one that operators can point to with genuine pride when speaking to guests, local authorities, and sustainability auditors.

No drilling, cutting, or chemical treatment of host trees
Minimal ground disturbance — installations designed around root systems, not over them
ECO Treetopwalks and elevated structures designed for full canopy integration
Responsible material selection and sustainable timber specification where applicable

Why this matters commercially

Parks situated in protected or sensitive natural areas face increasing scrutiny from planning authorities. Operators who can demonstrate genuinely eco-conscious construction hold a significant advantage when applying for operating licences, public-sector partnerships, and environmental impact approvals.

Skywalker's ECO-certified build methodology provides the documentation and third-party evidence needed to satisfy regulatory requirements — and to differentiate on sustainability credentials in a market where these matter increasingly to guests and sponsors alike.
