◆ Thrill Adventures

High-adrenaline attractions engineered for commercial impact

From the gravity-powered ZipCoaster to magnetic-catch free-fall devices, Skywalker's Thrill Adventures range is engineered as revenue-generating anchor attractions. Every product in this family is designed for high throughput, operational efficiency, and measurable return on investment.

Six distinct attractions — from rollercoaster ziplines and autonomous trolley systems to modular adventure towers and free-fall devices — each integrating into a single, fully engineered development roadmap from feasibility through to certification.

The product family

Six high-adrenaline attractions, one engineering standard

Every product in the Thrill Adventures family is designed to EN 15567 (European Ropes Course Standard) and EN 12572 requirements. Each operates on gravity or patented eddy-current magnetic braking — minimising energy consumption and maintenance overhead while maximising hourly throughput.

Signature attraction

The ZipCoaster: aerial engineering meets roller coaster design

The ZipCoaster fuses the free-flying sensation of a zipline with the mechanical precision of a roller coaster, delivering steep 42° drops, compound 270° turns, and high-velocity flight on a suspended rail system. It functions as the defining anchor attraction for a Category C International Destination park and is one of the most commercially distinctive products in the adventure industry.

Unlike powered rides, the ZipCoaster operates entirely on gravity — zero external energy consumption. Automatic uplift systems and integrated mechatronics maintain consistent visitor flow with minimal manual labour, keeping operating costs low and hourly capacity high.

The ZipCoaster can be designed as more thrilling or tame based on visitor demographics — scalable intensity for any target market and operator brief.

Zipline technology

Custom ziplines and autonomous trolley systems

Ziplines & Zipwires

Ziplines are the commercial cornerstone of the adventure industry. Skywalker delivers engineer-grade solutions for valleys, rivers, and technical tower exits — from a single linear line to multi-line configurations with dedicated platforms and staging areas.

Every installation uses advanced magnetic braking technology to deliver safe, high-velocity landings and increased hourly capacity. Full-lifecycle support is available through Skywalker's seven-stage development roadmap — from paid feasibility scan and ROI modelling through to technical construction and independent site-acceptance certification.

Bi-Directional Autonomous Ziplines

The ZipTronik bi-directional trolley system eliminates the most common operational bottleneck in high-volume zipline parks: manual equipment return. Smart mechatronics return the trolley automatically, removing a staffing requirement and closing the gap between riders without human intervention.

Designed for high-end recreation facilities where operational efficiency directly impacts revenue per hour, the ZipTronik allows operators to control the ride experience, enhance guest safety margins, and reduce operational overhead at scale.

Modular towers and high-volume free-fall devices

Ultimate Adventure Tower

Skywalker's modular adventure towers are designed for extreme versatility and high throughput. Engineered to EN 15567 (European Ropes Course Standard) and EN 12572, these scalable steel and timber structures function as multi-activity hubs — combining climbing walls, free-fall launches, and zipline start points in a single footprint.

The modular build approach allows for future expansion and reconfiguration, ensuring the investment adapts to evolving market demands and capacity targets without requiring a ground-up rebuild.

QuickFlight & FlightLine Free-Fall

Both free-fall devices utilise patented eddy-current magnetic braking technology. Unlike bungee-based systems, there are no contacting parts to wear out, delivering a consistent, smooth catch at speed. This friction-free mechanism supports high-velocity throughput while substantially reducing maintenance requirements and operational downtime.

The QuickFlight handles up to 90 riders per hour on low-to-mid height installations. The FlightLine is engineered for taller platforms, providing an authentic free-fall experience that functions as a premium grand-finale attraction and drives repeat visitation.
